Pasgon won the bid in 2015 for Eastercon 2017, unopposed, to be held at the Mercure Holland House Hotel & Spa, Cardiff, but then had to fold with site problems, so Innominate were quickly formed and won in 2016, to hold the event in the NEC Hilton, Birmingham. Pat Cadigan, Judith Clute, and Colin Harris were guests.
